Vinci to acquire Macquarie’s India road assets for INR 15,000 crore

French infrastructure firm VINCI Highways has emerged as the winning bidder to acquire Macquarie Asset Management's Toll Operate Transfer (ToT) 1 road portfolio in India for about INR 15,000 crore (around USD 1.6 billion). The portfolio includes nine operational toll projects spanning 648 km across Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. Originally purchased by Macquarie in 2018 for INR 9,681 crore, the assets have generated consistent revenue over the years. L&T secures INR 1,000–2,500 crore water management project in Assam for 24x7 supply in Guwahati

The project involves end-to-end execution, including intake systems, treatment facilities, reservoirs, pumping infrastructure and a city-wide distribution network with household connections. It also includes deployment of a SCADA-based monitoring system and a five-year operation and maintenance component. Government to roll out 10,000 AC electric buses across 116 cities by 2027, larger expansion planned

The central government is set to deploy 10,000 air-conditioned electric buses across 116 cities by 2027 under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme. Cost overruns hit infrastructure projects, but progress continues across sectors

Ceigall India signs solar PPAs with Maharashtra utility for 337 MW projects
