MakeMyTrip has entered into a strategic partnership with global hospitality group Minor Hotels to expand international accommodation options for Indian travellers. The collaboration adds city hotels and resort properties across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to the MakeMyTrip platform. Around 60 Minor Hotels properties are currently live, with plans to scale up listings across the group's wider portfolio of over 560 hotels. JetSetGo has entered into a memorandum of understanding with UK-based Vertical Aerospace to plan the induction of 50 Valo electric aircraft in India as part of a broader advanced air mobility strategy. The partnership focuses on route planning, operational studies, regulatory engagement and commercial viability for electric and hybrid-electric aircraft. Thomas Cook India reported a marginal decline in consolidated net profit for the December quarter, weighed down by a one-time provision linked to the implementation of new labour codes. Net profit fell 3.83% year-on-year to INR 44.87 crore, compared to INR 46.66 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Despite the profit dip, the travel services company recorded steady operational growth, with revenue from operations rising to INR 2,145.68 crore during the quarter. Total expenses also increased, reflecting higher activity levels. Excluding the one-off labour-related provision, the company said profitability remained resilient, with profit before tax showing healthy growth. Indian Hotels Company Limited has entered into a framework agreement with Rajdarbar Group to develop seven Ginger hotels across north India, adding over 1,000 rooms to its portfolio. The partnership covers a mix of greenfield and brownfield projects and has already seen the opening of a 59-key Ginger hotel in Gurugram. Planned locations include Jaipur, Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Hisar and Karnal. Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) is set to introduce India's first hydrogen-powered buses for passenger movement after entering into an agreement with the Kerala Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster Foundation under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The project involves the deployment of three hydrogen fuel cell electric buses, with financial support capped at INR 2.90 crore per bus and a total project cost of INR 8.7 crore. IKEA India reported a significant widening of its total loss to INR 1,325.2 crore in FY25, with revenue from operations falling by 3.33 per cent to INR 1,749.50 crore, according to company filings. Total income, including other sources, declined 3.9 per cent to INR 1,780.10 crore. Advertising and sales promotion expenses rose 14.06 per cent to INR 223.9 crore. Ventive Hospitality Ltd posted strong financial performance in Q3 FY 2026, with consolidated revenue reaching INR 722 crore, up 27% year-on-year, and EBITDA at INR 348 crore, reflecting 25% growth. The hospitality segment led the gains, delivering revenue of INR 565 crore, a 35% increase, and EBITDA of INR 226 crore, up 54%. Indian hotels saw 22% revenue growth with 35% higher EBITDA, while international properties recorded 46% revenue growth and 73% EBITDA growth. Annuity assets contributed INR 128 crore in revenue.
