Maverick Investments Limited, backed by UAE-based Siraj Holdings, and Henox IT and Data Centers have announced the first phase of Project Horizon in Tamil Nadu. The plan includes a 100 MW green data centre, a cable landing station and a renewable energy facility. Siraj Holdings has approved an initial equity infusion of INR 200 crore, while a platform is being developed to raise up to INR 50,000 crore over the project lifecycle. Patel Engineering has signed an initial pact with the Arunachal Pradesh government to revive the 144 MW Gongri Hydropower Project near Dirang. The project, earlier terminated, has been restored under the state's new policy for reviving large hydropower projects approved recently by the cabinet. With an estimated cost of INR 1,700 crore and a four-year construction timeline, the project will be executed on a BOOT basis for 40 years. The project covers civil construction, infrastructure, boundary walls, and visitor facilities at the site, believed to be the birthplace of Goddess Sita. The work will be executed over 42 months. The Andhra Pradesh government has signed an MoU to develop an integrated Aviation, Aerospace and Defence Education City near Bhogapuram International Airport in Vizianagaram district. The GMR-MANSAS Aviation EduCity will be built on around 136 acres of land provided by the MANSAS Trust, in partnership with the GMR Group. The project aims to address the growing need for skilled professionals across aviation, aerospace and defence sectors. Planned as a comprehensive education and training hub, the campus will offer courses in pilot training, aircraft maintenance, airport operations, aerospace engineering and emerging aviation technologies. ACME Solar has commissioned 52 MW of its 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat's Surendranagar district, implemented through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy. The project is being developed in phases, with the latest tranche adding 8 MW. Power from the project will be supplied under a 25-year PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
