Garuda Aerospace has commissioned a drone battery manufacturing facility at its Chennai campus, strengthening its focus on localising critical components in the drone value chain. The facility was inaugurated by DGCA Director General Faiz Ahmed Kidwai during an industry event attended by stakeholders from the civil aviation and drone sectors. Alongside this, the company also opened a new academic block at its DGCA-approved pilot training centre to address rising demand for trained drone operators. Facebook India Online Services Pvt Ltd has leased nearly 69,702 sq ft of office space in Hyderabad's Hitec City for a five-year term, with monthly rent of around INR 67 lakh. The space is on the fourth floor of Skyview 20 in The Skyview complex and includes 70 car parking slots, with the lease effective from mid-July 2025 and rent starting in December 2025. A 15% rent escalation is planned after three years, and a security deposit of INR 4.01 crore has been paid. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has extended the registration deadline for 637 residential plots under its Anant Nagar housing scheme by four days, moving the last date to January 16, 2026. The decision was taken following strong public demand as thousands of applicants showed interest in securing plots in the township being developed along Mohan Road. The registration process, conducted entirely online, will conclude on the new extended date, and plot allocation will be carried out through a transparent lottery system.
