Juniper Green Energy has initiated power generation at the 72-MWp solar segment of its 133-MWp hybrid project in Solapur, Maharashtra, which was commissioned on January 10. Developed by its subsidiary Juniper Green Spark Ten Private Ltd, the solar segment was completed 10 months earlier than planned, following the first phase of 36 MWp commissioned last September. The project's PPA with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited covers 108 MWp of solar and 25 MW of wind power, with full commercial operation originally set for November 2026. Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured an order worth INR 102.75 crore for the execution of a solar power project on a turnkey basis, according to a regulatory filing. The order involves the setting up of a ground-mounted solar project with a capacity of 25 MWac or 35 MWp, along with evacuation infrastructure of 50 MW. The project has been awarded by a domestic entity and includes engineering, procurement and construction works. As per the terms of the order, the project is scheduled to be completed during the 2026-27 financial year. LG Electronics India is preparing for a major initial public offering (IPO) after receiving approval from SEBI. Kolte-Patil Developers Ltd has entered into a joint development partnership with a landowner to develop a residential project in Pune, with an estimated revenue potential of INR 850 crore. NTPC Renewable Energy has initiated the commercial supply of 300 MW from its 500 MW Bhadla solar project in Rajasthan, effective January 13. The addition raises NTPC group’s total installed capacity to 87,287 MW and commercial capacity to 86,207 MW.
