Kalupur Railway Station to get three new platforms and bullet train link

Ahmedabad's Kalupur railway station is being redeveloped under the Indian Railways' Amrit Bharat Station Scheme to enhance capacity and passenger experience. The project, led by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), will add three new platforms, raising the total to 13, and include a 16-storey complex with lounges, food courts, and commercial spaces. A roof plaza, elevated road, and multi-level parking are part of the plan. The station will be seamlessly linked to the upcoming Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train terminal and metro network. Designed to reflect Ahmedabad's heritage, the project also includes restoration of historic structures. Jewar Airport completes runway checks, awaits DGCA licence for operations

The Noida International Airport (Jewar) completed its second and final mandatory calibration flight earlier this week, following the initial test on October 31. An aircraft landed from the west-end of the strip to verify the Instrument Landing System (ILS) 28, whereas the earlier test covered ILS 10 from the east side. These calibration flights check navigation, communication and surveillance systems before an aerodrome licence is granted.
