Puravankara Limited has signed an Agreement to Lease with IKEA India for two retail floors at Purva Zentech Park, its mixed-use commercial project on Kanakapura Road in Bengaluru. The development spans 9.6 lakh sq ft with flexible floor plates and IGBC Gold-rated features, and is scheduled for completion by early 2026. IKEA will occupy over 1.2 lakh sq ft across the first and second floors, with handover expected in early 2026. Puravankara said the deal highlights the project's strong location and rising demand in South Bengaluru. With a 3.2 million sq ft commercial pipeline, the company expects projects like Zentech Park and Aerocity to support significant future value creation.Read more

Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) recently confirmed that it had entered agreements to acquire a 51 per cent stake in Sparsh Infratech, the parent company of the wellness brand Atmantan, for around INR 240 crore. IHCL indicated that the investment would be funded through internal accruals and would give the hospitality group ownership of the brand, its 97-key luxury wellness retreat in Mulshi near Pune, and its proprietary programmes. The company conveyed that the partnership with founders Sharmilee and Nikhil Kapur would support its long-term strategy of expanding its integrated wellness portfolio across key destinations in India and abroad.Read more

IKEA India reported annual revenue of INR 1,860.8 crore for FY24-25, a 6% rise from the previous year, driven by strong online sales, growing B2B orders and steady restaurant operations. Online revenue grew 34%, while the B2B segment expanded 20% and now contributes 19% of total sales. Food operations added about 10%, serving over 2.2 million meals. IKEA highlighted its focus on affordability, offering many products priced below INR 1,000. The retailer also expanded its network with a new Delhi city store and a Bengaluru Plan & Order Point, now reaching over 90% of urban households. V-Mart Retail Ltd narrowed its net loss to INR 8.87 crore in Q2, a significant improvement from INR 56.51 crore in the same quarter last year.
