After a 23-year-long legal dispute, Noida Authority is finally moving forward with the development of Sector 42 as a residential area. The original plan for the sector's development was approved in 1997, but it was delayed due to a legal challenge from the Central Employees Cooperative Housing Society, which claimed ownership of land within the sector.
