The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has started generating 5 MW of solar power along the 701-km Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai-Nagpur expressway), with initial installations at Karanja Lad in Washim and Mehkar in Buldhana.
