Rhino Resources is moving forward with offshore oil and gas projects in Namibia by planning an appraisal well at Capricornus and a flow test at Volans. Capricornus had previously produced light oil at 11,000 barrels per day, while Volans is a high liquid-yield gas condensate find. The company is exploring co-development options and acquiring new seismic data to investigate the Sagittarius trend. Williams is investing USD 1.9 billion in Woodside Energy's Louisiana LNG project, securing a 10% stake in the project's holding company and 80% of the Driftwood pipeline. The investment reduces Woodside's total capital expenditure on the USD 17.5 billion project to USD 9.9 billion and ensures Williams receives 1.5 mtpa of LNG production, along with a share of an existing Uniper offtake. NTPC has announced plans to start commercial operations of a 9.9 MW wind power unit at Bhuj in Gujarat shortly. The Public Works Department (PWD) has started work on a detailed feasibility study for a proposed integrated transit corridor along SSN Marg in South Delhi's Chhatarpur area. The corridor, covering a stretch of about three kilometres from the Anuvrat Marg junction to DLF Farms, is planned to include a flyover, slip roads, and either an underpass or a foot-over-bridge.
