Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of RTX, has opened a new advanced manufacturing facility in Bengaluru with an investment of USD 100 million. The centre, spread over 26 acres at KIADB Aerospace Park, will produce seats, lighting and cargo systems, temperature sensors, communication and navigation equipment, and evacuation slides for global markets. Petronas, Enilive, and Euglena have started constructing a new biorefinery in Pengerang, Malaysia, to produce sustainable fuels for the Asian market. The corporation leased 14.1 acres near the KKBT junction for 45 years in exchange for equity worth INR 23.7 crore, while Tidel Park holds a 74.4% stake. Coal India Limited (CIL) has partnered with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) to jointly expand the Chandrapura Thermal Power Station in Jharkhand, in a project worth nearly INR 21,000 crore. The two entities will share equity equally and develop two ultra-supercritical units of 800 MW each, adding 1,600 MW of capacity. Coal for the project will be supplied by CIL�s subsidiary, Central Coalfields Limited, with operations targeted to begin by FY 2031-32. IMFA has signed binding agreements to acquire Tata Steel's ferro-chrome plant in Kalinganagar, Odisha, for INR 610 crore, marking a major expansion in its production capacity.
