Platinum Corp commenced construction of its premium residential project, Platinum Stellar, in Santacruz West, Mumbai, following a bhoomi poojan ceremony held during the past week. Positioned as a low-density development with an estimated topline of around INR 300 crore, the project will offer bespoke residences ranging from 2,500 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft. Designed in collaboration with Sussanne Khan, the development focuses on customised layouts, curated amenities, and design-led living. Located on Main Avenue, the project targets high-end homebuyers and investors seeking exclusive assets in established micro-markets, reflecting continued demand for differentiated luxury housing in Mumbai’s western suburbs.
Platinum Corp performed the bhoomi poojan for its upcoming residential project, Platinum Stellar, in Santacruz West, Mumbai, during the past week, marking the formal commencement of construction for a design-led housing development positioned within the city’s premium western suburbs. The project, located on Main Avenue, is planned as a low-density residential offering with an estimated topline of approximately INR 300 crore.
The development will comprise bespoke residences ranging from 2,500 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft, with an emphasis on customised layouts and spatial planning tailored to individual homeowner requirements. The company indicated that no two residences would be identical, reflecting a strategy focused on differentiated offerings within the luxury housing segment.
The project has been conceptualised in collaboration with Sussanne Khan, who is overseeing the design elements, including interiors, spatial configurations, and amenity planning. The design approach incorporates elements inspired by Art Deco architecture, with a focus on proportion, detailing, and cohesive visual identity across common areas and residences.
According to Vishal Ratanghayra, the development has been positioned as a flagship residential project for the company in the Bandra–Khar–Santacruz micro-market. He indicated that the project combines scale with privacy and is part of a broader pipeline of design-oriented residential developments planned by the developer, each expected to involve collaborations with architects and designers.
The project includes four levels of podium parking and a dedicated podium level for amenities. Planned facilities comprise a business lounge with conferencing capabilities, a fitness centre, salon and spa spaces, a multipurpose banquet hall, and a range of indoor and outdoor hosting areas. The rooftop has been designed as a landscaped leisure zone with water features, pergolas, and green spaces.
Fixtures, furniture, and artefacts for the development are expected to be sourced from The Charcoal Project, a design venture associated with Sussanne Khan, aligning with the project’s curated design positioning. The development also integrates wellness and social spaces aimed at enhancing residential experience within a compact, low-density framework.
Platinum Corp, which has delivered approximately 1.75 million sq ft across Mumbai’s key suburban locations over the past 15 years, indicated that the project has already attracted interest from investors evaluating long-term value in established residential micro-markets. The Santacruz West location, characterised by limited land availability and established infrastructure, continues to see demand for premium residential developments with differentiated offerings.
