Heriot REIT Ltd has announced plans to acquire a 75% interest in Katleho Property Investments Proprietary Limited (KPI) in a transaction valued at INR 128.9 million. The acquisition will be settled through the issuance of approximately 5.6 million ordinary shares by Heriot REIT at a price of INR 23.00 per share. The company has also distributed a circular to shareholders in accordance with Section 60 of the Companies Act. Interio, the furniture business of Godrej Enterprises Group, reported revenue of INR 4,000 crore in FY26, registering a 12% year-on-year increase driven by retail expansion, new product launches and growth in online sales. The company expanded into 100 new cities during the year, while products introduced recently contributed 22% of overall revenue. Looking ahead, Interio is targeting 25% revenue growth in FY27 and plans to add 102 stores, with a particular focus on North and East India. The company also expanded its delivery network to more than 20,000 pin codes, entered the outdoor furniture segment and launched a dedicated gaming furniture range as part of its portfolio diversification strategy.Read more

India’s eight core infrastructure sectors recorded a growth of 0.5% in May, marking the slowest expansion in seven months, according to government data released on 22 June. The moderation was driven by lower production across coal, crude oil, natural gas, refinery products and fertilisers. The growth rate was lower than the 1.8% recorded in April and 1.2% in the corresponding month last year. During the first two months of FY2026-27, cumulative growth in the core sectors remained at 1.1%. The latest data points to continued pressure on key industrial segments that form the backbone of the country’s infrastructure and manufacturing activity.Read more
