Haryana has approved additional power infrastructure projects worth INR 912.70 crore under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), aimed at strengthening the state's electricity distribution network. The Distribution Reforms Committee, chaired by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, cleared the proposal and recommended it for approval by the Power Finance Corporation and the Ministry of Power. The package includes loss-reduction works in Palwal and Nuh districts, the development and augmentation of power substations, and the deployment of advanced grid management systems.
